NWA 15156 was discovered in Northwest Africa in Algeria in 2022.
Meteorite hunters in Morocco discovered an original total mass of a mere 191g.
NWA 15156 represents primitive Martian magma.
The geology of the meteorite is a phyric basalt shergottite, with olivine phenocrysts and small maskelynite grains.
The small total mass recovery makes Martian meteorite NWA 15156 ultra, ultra rare.

Single display (1 floating Mars rock) or Double display (2 floating Mars rocks) available.
The floating displays have a hinged, hard plastic black frame, with dual-sided membranes, see photos below.
The frame viewing area is 2.25 inches x 2.25 inches.
The frame can be opened and the floating rock can be touched, removed, and/or rearranged in different positions... a different look every time, nice!
Each display also includes a matching hard plastic stand to show off your collectible, see photos below.

Single floating rocks are approximately 8mm x 5mm x 3mm with an average weight of 125-165mg.
Double floating rocks are approximately 8mm x 5mm x 3mm & 6mm x 5mm x 3mm with an average total weight of 225-265mg.
